The Deaf People Association Malta (Għaqda Persuni Neqsin mis-Smigħ) was founded in 1972 and represents over 3000 deaf people in Malta. They work to protect the rights of deaf individuals, promote the Maltese Sign Language (LSM), and organize social events and educational courses. The association serves as a vital support network for the deaf community, aiming to achieve full inclusion and accessibility in all areas of society.
